Psychotherapy

I offer Individual Psychotherapy and Couples Therapy (45-50 minutes) working from a variety of modalities to best fit your needs.

At our initial meeting you can expect to complete an informed consent form and be provided with information surrounding your rights as a client. We will spend the first session getting to know each other, gaining a better understanding on what’s bringing you into therapy, and seeing if we’re a good fit in this work together. If we decide to join in this work together, we will schedule a follow up appointment where we will then begin a more formal biopsychosocial intake and outline your therapeutic goals.

Because session frequency is an important component to successful therapy and building a therapeutic alliance, I recommend weekly sessions. We can discuss frequency at the start and reevaluate periodically to make sure you are getting the most from therapy.

Trans* Letter writing services

I offer discounted “mental health assessments” for trans* and GNC folks seeking letters to access gender affirming surgeries. This service is offered without the necessity of engaging in psychotherapy. I understand the inherent “gate keeping” nature of these evaluations and seek to make them as painless as possible. To allow time for the evaluation and the letter to be written, you can expect to attend a minimum of two appointments.
